Ganlangal Root
A close relative to ginger and turmeric, Galangal is a plant root, mostly used as a spice in Asian cuisines. This can be eaten fresh or cooked and has multiple health benefits. Unlike ginger, Galangal’s has its very own distinctive sharp, spicy, and peppery flavors. It is also rich in dietary fibers, vitamin A and vitamin C, for enhanced digestion, optimal eyesight and bolstered immunity, respectively.
