Lakadong Haldi Powder
A tiny village at the foothills of West Jaintia hills in Meghalaya is the birthplace of the world's finest variety of Haldi. Lakadong Turmeric has the highest curcumin content of more than 7%, as against 2-3% found in regular varieties available in the market. Curcumin is a miracle compound known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and renders a yellowish-orange color to the spice. The higher the curcumin, the more prized the turmeric is. As a result, it is hailed in the holistic ayurveda and is a perfect replacement for our regular haldi.
Golden Milk: Ancient Remedy
